Partnerships · Investment · Delivery

Anchored to potential, not risk.

We work alongside organisations serving children, young people and communities to build partnerships, secure investment and deliver programmes that make a lasting difference.

Remarkable work deserves the structure to last.

Across the sector, organisations are doing remarkable work with too little time, structure or support behind them. Funding increasingly asks for partnerships, evidence and long-term plans that small teams struggle to put together while still running services.

SHVFT2.0 is an independent partner that holds the whole journey with them. We bring the right partners together, help secure the investment, support delivery on the ground and build the foundations that keep good work going long after a grant ends.

From idea to impact.

Most support stops at the application. We stay through mobilisation, delivery and reporting, so what was promised is what young people receive.

An independent convenor.

We are not tied to any one organisation, which lets us bring councils, charities, grassroots groups and businesses together around a shared purpose and hold the partnership fairly.

Practitioner-led.

Our team has managed youth hubs, worked inside local government and raised funds for national charities. We know what commissioners look for and what delivery really takes.

Built to last.

Every piece of work is designed for sustainability, with the structure, people and relationships an organisation needs beyond its next grant.

Your first step

A free readiness review

Not sure where to start? Our free readiness review is a one-hour conversation that looks at your organisation, your partnerships and the opportunities ahead. You leave with a short written summary of your strengths, the gaps to close and the funding or partnership routes that fit you best, whether or not you choose to work with us.

About us

Communities deserve services that last.

We match young people to where they are going, not where they have been.

Our story

SHVFT2.0 was founded on a simple observation. Too often we have seen strong youth and community programmes miss out on investment because nobody had capacity to build the partnership, valued work stall because nobody planned for the second year, and committed organisations struggle because they lacked the structure to sustain themselves.

We set out to change that, bringing together experience from local government, national charities and frontline youth work into one independent partner that stays with organisations from the first conversation to long-term impact.

Develop. Expose. Connect.

Everything we do follows one journey. We develop readiness, in young people and in the organisations that serve them. We expose them to what is possible, so the future becomes concrete. And we connect them to genuine opportunity, through partnerships, investment and the people who can open doors.

Our mission

To strengthen the organisations and partnerships that serve children, young people and communities, so they can secure the investment they need, deliver with confidence and sustain their impact for the long term.

Our vision

Every community served by organisations that are well led, well connected and built to last.

Our values

Young people first.

Every decision is tested against the difference it makes to the people our partners serve.

Collaboration over competition.

We build partnerships where every organisation, large or small, has a fair voice and a clear role.

Integrity.

We are honest about what is achievable, we never commit partners to what they have not agreed, and we evidence what we claim.

Built to last.

We plan beyond the grant, so the work continues when the funding cycle ends.

Services

Ten services, one joined-up journey.

Each service can stand alone or work together, shaped around what each organisation and community needs.

01

Funding and bids

We help organisations find the right opportunities and make a strong, honest case for investment. We test each opportunity before work begins, so effort goes where it can genuinely succeed, and we work with funders directly from the first question to final confirmation.

IncludesFunding research and tracking, opportunity qualification, bid management, bid writing, budgets and financial design, funder liaison and due diligence support.
02

Consortium and partnerships

The biggest opportunities now ask organisations to deliver together. We act as an independent convenor, bringing grassroots groups, established charities, local authorities and businesses into partnerships that are fair, well governed and trusted by funders.

IncludesPartner identification and assessment, compliance and safeguarding due diligence, consortium agreements, ways of working frameworks, Partnership Consortium Lead role for the life of a grant.
03

Commercial partnerships

We help organisations build lasting relationships with business, rooted in shared values and mutual benefit, so they have support they can rely on beyond any single grant.

IncludesPartnership strategy, corporate introductions, sponsorship and corporate giving, joint programmes, social value partnerships, relationship management.
04

Programme design

We work with organisations to shape and strengthen their programmes so they meet the needs of the people they serve and the priorities of those who invest in them.

IncludesProgramme review and redesign, delivery models, cohort and eligibility design, theory of change, risk assessment and risk mapping.
05

Impact reporting and frameworks

We help organisations understand and evidence the difference they make. Where several organisations deliver together, we make sure everyone measures in the same way, so the partnership tells one clear story and learns as it goes.

IncludesOutcomes and impact frameworks, implementation across teams and partners, data collection systems, reporting to funders, boards and communities.
06

Operations

We design how a service should run and then help make it happen, so doors open on time, young people are safe and every session counts.

IncludesOperational design, site readiness, recruiting first staff, workforce coordination, on-the-ground safeguarding and health and safety, registration and referrals, finance tracking, youth voice, out of hours emergency cover.
07

Marketing and brand

We help partnerships and organisations find a clear identity and voice, and reach the young people and communities they exist to serve.

IncludesBrand identity, brand language and messaging, programme launches, outreach campaigns, communications for partners and stakeholders.
08

Capacity building and sustainability

We help organisations put lasting foundations in place, so they are not dependent on the next grant to survive.

IncludesOrganisational structure, long-term strategy, contingency planning, team design, fundraising strategy and training, building a business development function.
09

Workforce, leadership and youth work development

We invest in the people behind the work, from managers and senior leaders to the youth workers closest to young people.

IncludesManagement and leadership training, leadership coaching, team culture, youth work training and upskilling, safeguarding practice, progression into senior roles.
10

AI skills and adoption

AI can give small teams back the time they need for young people and communities, but only if it is used safely, ethically and with confidence. We help organisations understand what AI can do for them, build the skills to use it well, and put the right safeguards in place, especially where young people's information is involved.

IncludesAI readiness assessments, AI policy and governance, safe and ethical use training, practical skills for bids, reporting, communications and admin, hands-on projects that build AI into everyday workflows, and AI literacy sessions for young people.
How we work

One partner from the first conversation to long-term impact.

Nothing falls between separate consultants.

  1. Step 1

    Listen.

We start with your organisation, your community and your ambitions: the difference you want to make, who is already around you, and what is holding you back.

  2. Step 2

    Qualify.

We test every opportunity honestly before work begins, looking at eligibility, the funder's priorities, the wider landscape and your capacity to deliver. A clear no at this stage protects your time and your reputation.

  3. Step 3

    Build.

We bring the right partners together, strengthen their programmes, check every policy and safeguarding document, and agree how the partnership will work and measure its impact.

  4. Step 4

    Secure.

We manage and write the bid, design the budget, and work directly with the funder until investment is confirmed.

  5. Step 5

    Deliver and sustain.

We stay. We lead the partnership, support operations where needed, report on impact, and help build the people, brand and relationships that keep the work going beyond the grant.

Our principles

Partners agree before we commit.

Nothing is offered to a funder on a partner's behalf until that partner has agreed it.

Evidence, not inflation.

We count young people accurately, use each organisation's own data, and make claims we can stand behind.

Clear scope and cost.

We agree the scope and cost of our work at the outset, so there are no surprises along the way.

Young people's voices shape the work.

We build youth voice into every partnership, from design to delivery.

Youth voice

Shaped with young people, not for them.

Young people are not an afterthought in our work. They are experts in their own lives, and the best programmes are shaped with them, not for them.

Our founder built Haringey's Youth Council, with a dedicated board for young people with special educational needs and disabilities. We bring that experience to every partnership: helping organisations set up youth councils and advisory boards, involving young people in programme design and bids, and making sure their feedback keeps shaping delivery once the work begins.

Through Heard, our youth voice platform, partners can hear from young people continuously, not just at the start of a project.

Our tools

We have built our own digital tools so the organisations we work with can hear young people clearly and evidence their impact.

Heard

A platform for capturing the voices of young people, gathering their views, ideas and feedback in ways that are easy for them to use, so their perspectives shape programmes from design to delivery.

T360 Impact

An outcome measurement platform that brings recognised measurement tools into one place, helping organisations track progress consistently and report their impact with confidence.

Our impact

The shift, measured.

Who we work with

Everyone who shapes a community's future.

Lead organisations

Foundations, national charities and established providers with the standing to hold major grants, who want an independent partner to build and coordinate the partnership so their own teams can focus on delivery.

Local authorities and commissioners

Councils and public bodies that want a borough partnership built and run well, with one accountable point of contact and reporting they can rely on.

Funders and foundations

Investors who want the organisations they back to be well structured, well led and able to evidence their impact.

Grassroots and community organisations

Smaller groups closest to young people and communities, who want to take part in larger partnerships and build the capacity to grow.

Businesses

Companies that want to invest in their communities through meaningful partnerships that deliver real social value.

For businesses

Connect your values with real local impact.

Many businesses want to make a real difference in the communities where they work, but find it hard to know where to start, which organisations to trust, or how to connect community impact with their own values and goals. We help close that gap.

We start with your business: your values, your people, your customers and your objectives. Then we connect you with the local charities and community organisations whose work genuinely fits, and help shape partnerships that create lasting change for young people and communities while reflecting who you are as a business.

Finding the right partners

We know the local youth and community sector well, so we can introduce you to trusted organisations that match your purpose and your places.

Designing meaningful partnerships

From community investment and employee volunteering to mentoring, skills programmes and joint campaigns, we help design partnerships with clear goals on both sides.

Telling the story well

We help you communicate your community impact authentically to staff, customers and stakeholders, building on our founder's experience of corporate partnerships at The Prince's Trust.

Evidencing social value

We help you measure and report what your partnership achieves, supporting your social value commitments and responsible business reporting.

Our team

Practitioners, not just advisers.

Lindani Njie

Founder

Lindani has spent his career helping young people and communities get the services they deserve. He has helped raise funds for The Prince's Trust and secured around £300,000 in local authority funding for programmes that still run today.

He has managed Haringey Council's youth hubs and worked across youth services, early help, safeguarding and youth justice, so he understands both what funders expect and what delivery really takes. He has built commercial partnerships between businesses and the organisations they support, and as an accredited executive coach he develops leaders across the public, private and voluntary sectors.

We believe every young person deserves the same chance to thrive. We work to remove barriers, reflect the communities we serve, and make sure under-represented voices, including young people with special educational needs and disabilities, are heard and included.
